Haiti president nominates PM

Haitian President Michel Martelly nominated Daniel Rouzier as Prime Minister on 02.08.2011 but lawmakers rejected his choice for the entrepreneur that helped a Christian charity in the country. Efforts to install a government and move ahead with rebuilding a country shattered by last year's earthquake were rendered fruitless sending Martelly back to the drawing board.

Haiti, Dominican Republic are affected by high winds up to 93km/h (25 m/s or 57mph) of a tropical cyclone that can have a medium humanitarian impact. Evaluations were made based on the storm strength and the affected population in the past and forecasted path.
